Feb 23, 2026 The current management of tumors relies on a series of steps: diagnosis, treatment, and check-up. These steps are distributed across multiple hospital departments and complicate cancer treatment. The European project Scan Nano Treat, coordinated by Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and funded by the European Innovation Council (EIC) Transition, aims to transform this model through “all-in-one” nanoparticles that combine cancer imaging and treatment. At the intersection of chemistry, medical imaging, and innovation, this project opens major perspectives for both medicine and industrial transfer.
